This was an idea that started 5 years ago when DMC asked me to paint with him at Whitewash.

This idea came from deejaying, I started to think about treating art/characters like songs and how best they would go together, also about how to dissect such recognizable images to create new ones. This idea has been done before, by amazing artists all the way back, but this is my take. The very essence of pop art, to appropriate and remix it into something new. Also, these were great fun to put together.
