'Something we believe in...' (24th April 2010)

Morgan was recently asked by the inspiring Mr. Keith Donald to get involved in a very interesting project. The commission was to design a poster & Ltd Edition print for a concert in the national Concert hall in Dublin, to commemorate the birthday of Aung San Suu Kyi. we don't have space to explain her entire story here, but please see the links below, it really is an unbelievable story.

"Aung San Suu Kyi's story is one that really shouldn't even be possible in the world today. If you don't already know about this, you need to find out. An immense injustice. - Morgan"

The concert in question is on in the National Concert Hall in Dublin. We at Morgan.ie would love to see huge support. There is a big list of fantastic performers on the night and other than a celebration, it will also raise much needed awareness.

"Hey, I’d like to draw everyone’s attention to some fantastic news below.
Coke eBoy has been selected as an Official Honoree for the ‘Best Integrated Media Plan’ category in The 14th Annual Webby Awards – meaning it is in the top 15% of all work submitted to the Awards! Massive kudos and congratulations to Team OOK, Sheena, Luke and Morgan.ie for driving international recognition from THE global authority in our industry.

To quote Claire Hyland, the Webbies is ‘AS BIG AS IT GETS from a web perspective…. the actual awards night in NYC is a really big deal with celebrities attending’. While talking celebrity… the Webby judges actually include Beck, David Bowie, Vint Cerf, Richard Branson and Harvey Weinstein… I swear!!

What’s more… the Coke eBoy project was actually briefed and delivered in a 2 week period! For this hugely significant achievement, I’d like to thank everyone involved… through delivering on the world stage yet again for this agency. We’re getting damn good at this! Well done again!
