Morgan is one of Irelands most innovative artists, based in Dublin. His distinctive form of art is inspired by his everyday environment and the people he meets along the way, as well as being influenced by the escapism of film his work is primarily in acrylic, although he also creates digital prints mixing traditional photography techniques with illustrations as well as mixed media works combining digital prints on canvas. His first exhibition was illustration and photography based and generated a considerable interest. At the same time it set down a marker of a new artistic talent on the Dublin scene.

After leaving Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design in 1998, where he did a course in Model Making and Special Effects, Morgan set up Munki Productions with two of his friends. His role with Munki was twofold; firstly as one of Dublins upcoming dj's and secondly and more importantly to his future career path was his role as head designer for the club nights Munki ran.
The world of graphic design naturally beckoned, and Morgan began working with Ebow where he worked with such prestigious clients as Brown Thomas, Douglas Newman Good and A Wear. He then moved to Digital:CC where he worked on some very high profile projects such as U2.com, Davidgray.com and Pjharvey.net.

During all this, urban stencil based art emerged as a serious art form. It was time for Morgan to combine his professional path with two of his pass times of over 15 years; painting and photography. Combining the techniques of traditional painting with elements of graphic design, Morgan’s creative mind and hard working generated a distinctive style of work.

In 2006, he was selected as one of thirteen artists to exhibit at Art Dublin, an exhibition celebrating the best of Irish fashion and art which was held in BT2 on Grafton St. His work was so well received he has been chosen again for the second Art Dublin exhibition in July where he sold all 9 pieces helping raise funds for the Simon Community looking after the Homeless in Ireland.

He was asked to contribute to the book Back 2 Old School, a book in aid of Temple Street Hospital. His contribution featured his grandfather, James Farrell, who he credits with being a huge influence on him. After the release of this project, he was then approached by Anewspace to contribute to a war exhibition in 4 Dame Lane entitled ‘What is it Good For?’ Morgan was then approached to participate in a live art exhibition in the Village Venue called ‘Shock’d’ in which artists were given a canvas wall 25 feet long with which to decorate, artists included Tado from London & Jon Burgerman. The piece was then sold and the proceeds went to charity.
2007 continued to be quite a successful and eventful year for Morgan from taking part in various exhibitions at home and abroad, creating original pieces and fulfilling ongoing design projects.

Morgan was approached to take part in the Autism Ireland Exhibition in the Bernard Shaw. The strength of the piece led it to being used as the primary artwork for Autism Irelands marketing identity resulting in nationwide advertising print campaigns.

Morgan also contributed his designs as part of the ‘Fine design’ Exhibition which saw his designs being sandblasted onto the back of mirrors to create a triptych of a street tag design.
Morgan’s Art was most recently exhibited in the South of France as part of Art Mosh by Skate/Surf/Snow Brand Nixon where he sold all 11 pieces. The Exhibition featured other artists from around Europe. You can view some of the pieces that sold by clicking on paintings.

Exhibition Quality Printing

Exhibit A produce exhibition standard prints with care and attention through a highly personalised service using specialist archival inks and papers. In the hands of our skilled print makers, this combination produces exceptional results that often exceed traditional photographic printing processes.

Our primary print type is the Pigment Ink Print or Archival Pigment Print, sometimes referred to as a 'Giclée' Print. We prefer the term 'pigment' as this signifies that the print is produced using an archival ink. To make a truly archival quality print, pigment inks must be used on archival digital printing papers.
